Published research has reported that supraphysiological doses of D-chiro-inositol — far above the natural ratio — can impair ovarian function, which is the opposite of what people reach for inositol hoping to support. This has been described in the literature as the "D-chiro-inositol paradox": a little is part of the natural picture, but a lot, in the wrong place, works against you.

DC95 is myo-inositol. Full stop. It is not D-chiro-inositol, and it does not add a second molecule to the formula. On a label, the abbreviation sits in the same visual space where you'd expect to see "D-chiro," and the "DC" prefix does the rest of the work on a tired, scrolling reader. The result is a product that contains one molecule of inositol being read as though it contains two.

If you see a much higher D-chiro proportion, that's a flag, not a feature.
